Orson Scott Card Orson Scott Card, author of over 20 books for young adults including the Ender Wiggins series, Alvin Maker series and most recently the Serpent World series, will be the TeenBookCon '12 keynote speaker.
Alexandra Adornetto Alexandra Adornetto was 14 when she published her first book in Australia. Halo is her first U.S. book. The sequel is Hades.
Jesse Andrews Jesse Andrews is a writer, musician and designer who lives in New York. Me, Earl and the Dying Girl is his first novel.
Holly Black Holly Black is an avid collector of rare folklore volumes, spooky dolls and outrageous hats. Black Heart is the third book in the Curseworkers series.
Megan Crewe Megan Crewe reads everything she can get her hands on, is learning Fut Gar kung fu, and planning her next overseas exploration. The Way We Fall is her debut novel.
Gina Damico Gina Damico has worked as a tour guide, transcriptionist, theater house manager, scenic artist, movie extra, office troll, retail monkey, yarn hawker and breadmonger. Croak is her first novel.
Lauren DeStefano Lauren DeStefano's failed career aspirations include: world's worst receptionist, coffee house barista, sympathetic tax collector, and English tutor. Fever is book two in the Chemical Garden trilogy.
Elizabeth Eulberg In researching The Lonely Hearts Club, Elizabeth Eulberg tried swearing off boys forever. It didn't work. She lives outside of Manhattan with her three guitars, two keyboards, and one drumstick. Take a Bow is her third novel.
Trinity Faegen Trinity Faegen wasn’t always a writer. She had an illustrious career as a Campus Cop in college, led many children astray as a camp counselor, and decorated Christmas trees for sweet, and not-so-sweet, little old ladies.
Michael Grant Michael Grant has spent much of his life on the move. Raised in a military family, he attended ten schools in five states, as well as three schools in France. Bzrk is his eighth novel.
Lea Hernandez Lea Hernandez began drawing comics when she was about eleven or twelve years old. The stories at that time were mostly inspired by the Star Wars films.
Dusty Higgins When he’s not illustrating some new project, you can probably find Dusty Higgins playing the violin or working on some new DIY house project. Pinocchio, Vampire Slayer was chosen as one of the top 10 Great Graphic Novels for Teens by YALSA.
Tara Hudson Tara Hudson graduated with a degree in law, mostly because she believed all the horror stories about English majors and their careers in the food-service industry. Hereafter is her first novel. The sequel, Arise, will be released in June.
Van Jensen Before writing Pinocchio, Vampire Slayer and its sequel, Van Jensen was a crime reporter at the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette newspaper, often working in the wrong part of town at the wrong time of night.
D.J. MacHale D. J. MacHale has written, directed and produced many television series and movies for young people that have been seen on Nickelodeon, Disney Channel, HBO, Showtime, PBS, Discovery Kids and the broadcast networks. The Black is the second book in his Morpheus Road series.
Lisa McMann Lisa McMann writes from a green chair overlooking the Superstition Mountains. Sometimes, she wears a cowboy hat. She's not really a cowboy. She just likes hats. Dead to You comes out this week.

Marlene Perez Marlene Perez is the youngest of twelve children, which means that she is very familiar with the survival-of-the-fittest theory. Dead Is a Battlefield is the first in a spin-off series of the Dead Is... series.
Nick Pitarra Nick Pitarra is a native Texan, cartoonist, and all around nice guy. His work has been published by Marvel and Image comics, recently finishing the hit Image mini series The Red Wing and currently working on The Manhattan Projects with writer Jonathan Hickman. Nick’s art has found its way on billboards, murals, magazines, and in one calendar.
Inara Scott Inara Scott firmly believes that great literature doesn't have to be depressing, true love does exist, and everyone deserves a happily ever after. The Marked is the second book in The Talents series.
Ruta Sepetys Ruta Sepetys’ work has taken her to 41 countries on six continents. She wrote creepy stories as a child and told anyone who would listen that she was going to marry Roald Dahl. Between Shades of Gray is her first novel.
Maggie Stiefvater Maggie Stiefvater is an avid reader, an award-winning colored pencil artist, and plays several musical instruments, including the Celtic harp, the piano, and the bagpipes. The Scorpio Races was recently names a Printz award honor book.
Siobhan Vivian Siobhan (pronounced SHOVE-on)  Vivian is a former editor for Alloy Entertainment and screenwriter for Playhouse Disney. She currently teaches creative writing at the University of Pittsburgh. The List is her fourth book for teens.
