Food Options for Students

Food trucks and concessions stands will be available on the day of the event. We encourage all attendees to have cash available for food purchases. There is an ATM at Alief Taylor High School near the library.

This year, we will have the following food trucks parked outside the cafeteria: Foreign Policy (International Food), Mesquite Wood Fired Pizza (Pizza), Peppaz HTX (American Fusion), and Uncle Louie G's Italian Ice (Ices). Moooseum, which serves ice cream, will be set up inside the cafeteria. For more information, please visit Mobile Cuisine Services' website for TeenBookCon.

Friendship Bracelets
Attendees of TeenBookCon are encouraged to bring bookish themed friendship bracelets to trade with other attendees and authors on the day of the festival. More information can be found on the FRIENDSHIP BRACELET page.

Swag Shop
This year, we have both t-shirts and stickers for sale. T-Shirts are $10 each. Stickers can be purchased individually for $3, or bundled at 2/$5. Attendees can also buy raffle tickets to try and win a complete set of signed TeenBookCon books.

Educators as Volunteers

If you'd like to volunteer for the day of the event, we'd appreciate the help and love to have you involved.  You can register to volunteer through our sign up, or visit our VOLUNTEER page for up to date information.

Book Sales
Blue Willow Bookshop is the official bookseller for TeenBookCon.
We are always happy to help educators place orders ahead of time for the festival. Prices listed on the booklist are the cover price. Books purchased for your campus will see a 15% discount and no tax. Books purchased for your personal collection will see a 15% discount.

If you would like to purchase books for yourself or for your campus, please send a list of books to and enter "TeenBookCon Purchase" in the subject line. In the body of the email, indicate whether or not this is a purchase for your campus or for your personal collection.

If you are not an educator, but would like to pre-order books, you can do so here: you plan to pick up your books at the festival, please indicate that in the comments section.

TeenBookCon Scavenger Hunt

Throughout the day, teens are invited to participate in the TBC scavenger hunt! There will be code words given out at panels as well as clues hidden throughout the festival. One lucky winner will win a $100 bookstore gift certificate! The QR code to participate will be presented during the Keynote presentation.
